Riva I felt strange. I saw Gideon in a white suit, looking much younger than I last saw him. His face was smooth and shaven. But the most crucial difference was that his eyes looked hopeful. Bright, even. People crowded the garden, and white lilies and roses decorated the seats. A floral arch could be seen at Gideon’s back. Everything was too pretty, not exactly what one would associate with the former Alpha gone rogue. I soon realized that I was seeing his wedding.
