          The door opened and Amare came in, still chained like he was the night before. Zina’s feet had given up on her and Pa and Haile had helped settle her into a chair. But at the sight of Amare, she sprang up and attempted to run to him.           “Zina!” he got to her first, gritting his teeth in annoyance.
