Ada: Cindy have you done Dr. Mike’s assignment on ‘enzymes?’ Cindy: *a bit shocked* no, not yet, you?
Ada: I’m not through yet, why haven’t you been in school lately? Cindy: just been a lot busy.
Ada: hope it’s not about what I heard? Is it true? Cindy: and what did you hear?

*Empress in her apartment playing the song ‘Time No Dey,’ Chucks sent her*

Krush: it’s Chucks

*Krush answering call outside, Cindy shopping inside*
*Cindy finishes shopping and comes out and meets Krush dropping a call* Krush: that was Chucks about kicking my a*s for being absent in a concert still to come.
Cindy: why don’t you tell him you’ll not be there?
Krush: why? He’ll kill me for that.
Cindy: honey we are preparing for my birthday. It’s tomorrow. I’ll not forgive you if you don’t help me out with things. Let’s not talk about you not being there for me.

*Cindy sees the track ‘my baby’ Krush recently finished on the floor and inserts it into the CD player. She plays it and dances along* Cindy: *turns to him* I can’t just imagine that you did this track and especially dedicated it to me… love is so sweet.’

*Krush takes his birth and is dressing up for the concert* Cindy: and where are you going?
Krush: to Chucks’ concert of course. Aren’t you coming?
Cindy: no. You are not going there. It’s my birthday eve and you’re not leaving me.
Krush: you are not going. Fine. I’ll not force you. But please let’s not talk about this.
Cindy: but you can’t leave me now
Krush: then get dressed and let’s get going
Cindy: no. no way! *comes closer to him* I believe you’ll not want to leave me alone for that event.
Krush: I’ve not left you before, neither have I stopped you before, so you aren’t stopping me now. Leaving you? I hate to say this, but, thank God there’s always a first time.
*Cindy seats down and covers her face being defeated*
