Twin Dragons Resort Monday Morning Mick Heston was busy inspecting the housekeeping in the Prince Calaf Suite when Jack Nathan barged in on him. “Mick! I’m being f*****g audited!” These rooms were decorated in the motif of an ancient Chinese palace. Heston was examining a cloisonné knickknack he’d lifted from an ornately carved coffee table. Ignoring Nathan’s outburst, the hotel manager looked up at him quizzically. “Corporate is sending me a brand manager! Can you imagine that? There had better not be a stick of Early American mixed in with this Oriental stuff, the monograms on all the towels must be the new chain logo, and no bent tines on the forks. If we don’t pass inspection, I could lose my bonus. And I can’t afford to lose my bonus. It’s already spent on a Bugatti Divo. Lightly
