Stuart Shackleton might not yet have gotten his way with his nefarious plans for taking the Emmett farm, but at least one of his ambitions had been fulfilled: He was proud to have perhaps the largest luxury motor yacht on Truman Lake. Truman is the mirror-image of the other artificial lake in the state’s midsection, Lake of the Ozarks. In satellite views, their twisting watercourses and shorelines spiked with inlets resemble two coiled dragons. Indeed, the locals call the Lake of the Ozarks The Magic Dragon.
