10 DAY 14 A flash of white light. The force-field crackled as it sped toward her. Melissa jumped over it, flipping through the air, landing in the middle of her high school biology classroom. Rickety, wooden desks filled most of the space between four green walls. She saw writing on the blackboard, but she couldn’t make sense of it. Why couldn’t she read it? Shouldn’t there be people?
