One beautiful mourning Lucy stepped out of her house and worked down to the Dagon; a warlord on the training ground where he was training other vampires, they exchange pleasantries, and she said “It’s been eighteen years now that we had hoped for the promised one to be seen but up till now we had not recorded any progress about his whereabouts and the day of total destruction of the world is approaching according to the prophecy, though nobody knows the actual day it is closed at hand” she was still talking when her body shook uncontrollably in an instant and stopped, immediately she knew something had happened so she walks straight to her inner chamber and found out that the promised one detective stone was shining, so she quickly sent for the warlord, on his arrival, she smiled and said “at last the promised one is now in our jurisdiction quickly get your men ready and look for him. Then, bring him to me, take the detective stone with you, it will guide you to the promised one, I will quickly inform the king at once.

The vampire warriors and his soldiers searched every vampire house for strangers, whenever they see any stranger , they will move the detective stone closer to them to see if the stone will break, they had to concentrate on strangers because according to the seer, the promised one had just enter their jurisdiction, strategically they moved very fast with the detective stone, after checking the whole place they could think of and still did not find the promised one, they decided to check the castle, on their arrival, they looked out for the strangers in the castle, still the result was the same, Drusilla the prince of the kingdom of Ombra, had about what was going on, so was disappointed and angry that the issue of the promised one is up again , he had thought that the issue had been killed since every one has started looking up to him as the promised one, who else is qualified to be the promised one if not me, he soliloquizes to himself, so he decided that if he is not the promised one then no other person would be. So he orchestrated a plan to make it come to pass.

Prince Drusilla is well known for his evil ways, he is a proud prince that makes sure he gets all he ever wanted, either by hook or by crook. He is married but he still misbehaves with other female vampires as he deems fit, it has gotten to a stage where his wife doesn’t care about him sleeping around with other women anymore, the only thing that is still keeping her in the marriage is the prince hair she has had given birth to for him who will be succeeding him as the king of Omber when the time comes. But one thing he is good at is fighting, his technique in fighting cannot match up with any vampire, even the warlords because right from when he was still a little boy the best of the best fighter had been training him.

After Dagon and his men have finished checking the whole house of vampires they decided to check the forest since they have no other choice. They went into the forest and checked the Nook and cranny of the entire forest and when they were done they decided to quit looking for the promised one and report back to the Seer. As they were on their way back to the seer, something bright caught Dagon’s attention from under some dry leaves, "stop, what is that under the leaves", he said as he snarled in defense when he noticed blood all around the place so he cautiously moved closer and closer to it and then he used his claws to remove some of the leaves away from it, that was when it was done on him that it was actually a female wounded vampire, so he asked her what her name is, she managed to open her eyes faintly and closed them back, she could not say anything. As they were still contemplating what to do with Seraphina, they heard a little noise from Riccardo’s location, so Dagon said “We are not alone, who are you? Show yourself” As he was talking he had already signalled the other vampire to surround the area the noise came from, by the time Riccardo noticed that he has been compromised, it was already too late, though he tried to run away as fast as he could, he could not run fast, a lot of blood has left him causing him to be weak. So the vampire got hold of him and send him to the prison, and then they took Seraphina to the seer’s house to treat her.

On getting to the seer aboard, they saw that the seer was in deep medication as she was seen standing with one leg while the other leg was bent in such a way that her toes were almost touching her back while his hands were spread horizontally and her eyes closed. Immediately Dagon got to where she was, she stopped and moved back to a sitting position and said "Show me the promised one" Dagon bowed his head and said, "Forgive me for I have failed you, we looked for the promised one everywhere but it turned out that we could not see her. "It’s okay, what will be will be”, she stood up with her head bowed down as all the happiness and excitement she experienced from earlier has been watched down the drain some leaves away from it, that was when it was done on him that it was actually a female wounded vampire, so he asked her what her name is, she managed to open her eyes faintly and closed them back, she could not say anything. So he ordered his men to carry her to the seer as they did not understand why it will take a vampire a long time to heal.

When it was daytime while all the vampires had gone to bed, Seraphina opened her eye, and what she saw sent chill shivers down her spine "What is this? Where is this?" I asked as I stood up in a dark and fearful room, I felt a wintery chill lingering on the air and a soft whistle of wind coming from a tiny c***k in the window pane, I walked silently around the room and I saw coffins here and there, so I pinched myself very hard to be sure that I am still alive. After which, I beamed a smile of relief.

I walked into bright light as I left the fearsome room feeling extremely hungry, so I dashed into the woods looking for some animals to eat, after a while my action was successful. So I sat down somewhere I could see the seer’s house to meditate on all that have happened, Riccardo was the first thought that came to my mind, where could he be now? The last time I had seen him was when he left to my parent’s house before I was attacked by a group of werewolves and now I have woken up in an unknown place not knowing who must have helped me.

However, it was getting dark already when I saw some vampires coming out of the house looking confused after a while the seer whisper something to Dagon’s ear, and he walk straight to where I was in the bush. I did not run because I somehow felt at peace, feeling like I am home. When he got to where I was he stared at me for a while and asked me some questions like, what kind of vampire are you?, How did you leave the house under the sun? I smiled at him and said,” I have been doing that my whole life, it is normal”.

“Where are you from and who are your parents?” he asked as he looked at me in a confused manner, it was difficult for me to answer that question so I kept quiet. So, he held my hand and dragged me to the seer, immediately the seer saw me, she shook uncontrollably for a while and asked, who are your parents, I kept quiet because it was difficult for me to trust anyone at the moment. So she went into her inner chamber, brought out the promised one detective stone and move it close to me.
