Standing in Callie’s room, I fight the nerves crackling beneath my skin. I know better than anyone what a coven can do when it’s riled up. I’ve seen the cruelty and bloodshed firsthand. A smart man would turn around and walk away. Or maybe even tell the others it’s time to leave this town. And yet, here I am, determined to do more this time around.
