Bella's mind reeled as Enzo's words echoed in her thoughts: "You're the collateral." The phrase hung in the air like a specter, haunting her.
She felt like a pawn in a game she didn't understand, a fragile piece on a board of ruthless players.
"Please, Enzo, listen," Bella pleaded, desperation creeping into her voice like a thief in the night. Her words trembled, a leaf quivering in an autumn storm.
Enzo's expression remained unyielding, a fortress of stone. But a flicker of curiosity danced in his eyes, a spark of intrigue.
"Anything?" he repeated, his tone dripping with skepticism, his voice a low, husky whisper.
Bella nodded vigorously, her heart racing like a wild animal. "Yes, anything. Just name it." The words spilled from her lips like a confession.
Enzo stepped closer, his presence suffocating, a dark cloud enveloping her. His eyes burned with an unyielding intensity.
"You'll come with me, Bella. Live with me. Be mine." The words hung in the air, a challenge, a promise, and a threat.
