"You are going to love his costume." Syd comes and sits in my lap on the bed.
"Why do you keep saying that?" She has been saying stuff about his costume aaaallll night. "What, is he dressed like you or something?" I laugh and she hits my arm.
"Shut up!"
"I'm kidding babe, forreal. What is he dressed as?"
"You will see." I groan and she just smiles at me. "Don't be impatient." She rubs her hand through my hair.
"Are you going to wear a costume?"
"Yes." I bite my lip.
"You should go put it on."
