I brought the agreement back to Bluewater Design Group. By the time Xavier finished reading it, his expression had turned cold. "Warren Group didn't create this work." I looked up at him. He walked over to the bookshelf, pulled out an old catalog, and turned to a marked page. A yellowed photograph was tucked between the pages. It showed a weathered timber-framed pavilion on the grounds of a historic mountain estate. Three words had been carved into one of the beams, Cline Custom Millwork. Xavier pointed to the photograph. "This is a historic estate in California that my grandfather helped restore twenty years ago. The lead restoration carpenter and architectural millwork designer was a man named Henry Cline."
