The Unknown Creature

It as 4:30 in the afternoon when Gerttude decided to take her horse and roam around together with her two body guards, well they are not just like a body guards because She and Salve treats everyone in their home a family.

As they were getting near the entrance, she can feel a different presence and she was able to confirm it when their horses are acting strange.

"Madam?" Alvin asked with a worried sound.

"Sssshhhhh!" She chant a spell that made their horses calm. "Someone else is here or might be in the other side of the boarder." Gerttude said.

She cast a spell over this land in which where they live that no intruder can come across with a super natural powers except for those she and Salve chooses to pass and with an exemption with those people who they made bond with and of course any ordinary people can come through.

Salve may have not known it since her power was not truly revealed yet, most of the people they are living with has a super natural powers. in the other side of this land She had build a Small Subdivision for their people. Shape Shifter, Witches, Sorcerers, Enchanters. The boarders are made to protect all of them,its sad to say but those people that's in her care are most likely to be the weakling, they could not afford to protect their self.

Once in a month Gerttude would go to the Portal together with her loyal companions and open it to see if there are any refugees, and most of those people are now living with them but before they could enter their place they are bound to be loyal to their "Family" for as to whatever Tribe, Breed or Clan they may be in, they call all the people inside her protection a FAMILY just as human addresses their love ones.

In this new world they made, everyone is treated equally, everyone helps each other, this world was actually planned by the mother of Salve, hand in hand they worked hard together to save their people until such other tribe had noticed their secret plan, gladly most of them agreed with their advocacy and  help them build the new nation in which they are in today. Since Salve's mother is no longer around, the task to lead and help these people are on her shoulder but soon it will be led by Salve.

This place has a great source of food that is enough for everyone. They have Cattle, Poultry, Fish Ponds and some plantation of Coconuts, Bananas, Mangoes, Lychees, Apples and other Vegetables. Each one of them has an obligation such as for Guarding their boarders it is under the supervision of the Shape Shifters, The Cattle, Poultry and Fisheries are under the supervision of the Enchanters, The plantation are under the Sorcerers and the witches are supervising the Vegetables and other crops.

They all turned to the other side when they heard a couple of shape shifters running towards the gate in their different type of animal shapes. 

"Madam, there must be something wrong." Benedict said, one of the two.

When a shape shifter had finally noticed them, a big black crow flew towards them and shift into a human form.

"Madam." It shift into a middle aged girl, She bowed infront of Gerttude as a sign of respect and then speak. "We saw some huge creatures roaming outside the boarders, there were two of them and other one is wounded and is now lying outside our gate."

"What creature is it?" She asked.

"I think it’s a werewolf."

Gerttude gasps as she heard what kind of creature it is, when suddenly in a far distance she could hear the sound of a moving car.

"Salve is here." she announce and grab the horse reins and runs towards the gate. “How come she came home early today.” There were ten of them together with the shape shifters. The shape shifters gave way to her as they look at the wounded Wolf outside the gate, she could see the wolf is badly beaten as it slowly whimpers as if in so much pain as it looks towards her.

Those eyes looks familiar.

“Madam, Should we kill it?” one of the shapeshifter asked.

As the wolf heard what they are planning for it, it tried to move only to fall back on the ground.

“What the??.” Gabriel said it aloud that woke Salve. She immediately seated properly and look straight to where the two are watching.

“What is it?.” She asked.

She saw a big brown wolf and by the look of it, it is in bad shape. The wolf looks towards her and she could see the amazement and shocked in those big yellow eyes.

Those eyes! Those eyes looks so familiar, where did she saw it.

“Madam, Should we kill it?” she heard someone asked. When she looks towards where it was coming, she saw Gerttude and the rest behind the gate.

“Open the gate.” Gerttude exclaim.

Deep in her mind she suddenly felt afraid, not for her self but for the wolf infront of them. She suddenly grab the car door and quickly went outside.

“Salve!!” Gabriel called and also quickly followed her.

“No….No…” she said while blocking the others to come near the wolf.

“M-miss Sal-ve?’ the rest muttered.

“No don’t hurt her.”

“Her?” one of the crowd asked.

“Yes! I think I know her.” She looks at the wolf and it’s as if her eyes are showing some love. Then suddenly the wolf shift into a person, and yes it was a girl. A girl of her age and she could not deny the fact that she knew her.

“S-salve..” the wolf said.

The rest was so shocked that the wolf know Salve’s name.

“I-I know… I’d f-find you.” She tried reaching her hands towards Salve, and salve took it and held her in her arms as she lost consciousness.

“L-Laura?... Laura?” Salve exclaimed and at the same time looked at her mother. “Mom?”

Gerttude nods at her “Take Laura to the mansion, she needs to see the doctor.”

“How about the other werewolf madam?” one of the shapeshifter asked.

“That werewolf is not with her, it might be following her or worst it’s the reason of all her injuries. Go tell everyone to guard the boarders and the gates and report everything that you think is suspicious.”

Gabriel took Laura from Salve’s arm and carried her inside the car.

Salve is very anxious as she looks at the bruised face of Laura, if anyone who doesn’t know her well won’t be able to recognize her, she is beaten black and blue, she had a broken leg and some broken ribs with a deep cut wounds all over her body, there were few scars on her back as well that means she was being whipped. Thinking of what Laura had been through made her really sick and if her mom was right that the werewolf outside is the one who did all of this to Laura then she can’t imagine what would have happened next if they didn’t come on time.

“Salve.” Gerttude broke her deep thoughts.

“Yes?”

“I am calling a meeting and I want you to be there.”

“Oh! Okey..” She turned to Gabriel and said “Call two of our servants and let them watch over Laura please, and if ever she wakes up call me right away.”

As she tries to walks towards the meeting room, Gerttude grab her hand.

“That’s not the right way dear. Come with me.”

Salve was so amazed as Gerttude leads her to the greenhouse, upon entering she could see a lot of different type of plants and there were a vines crawling all over the place that she could no longer see the walls, there were different flowers as well, if you look at the greenhouse outside, it look like is just small yet when your inside, it’s so big, well she’s no longer wondering why it’s like that knowing her so called mother’s power.

As they walk inside, Gerttude stops in front of a door, a door that doesn’t look like one.

As they enter it, she saw a big round table at the center of the room, it has nine seats. Gerttude sat on one of the chair.

“Have a seat.” She said.

“I never thought that this kind of room exist in here.”

“This room is seldom being used. I just use this for a very important matter, and you my dear will learn a lot from this moment. This meeting is supposed to happen the day before your birthday but a turn of events happened so I just decided that today is the perfect time.”

She just look at Gerttude as if telling her to continue and that she is all ears.

“Our Land, This place Salve is what me and your mom had always wanted, but unfortunately she is not yet here so I just carried out our plans and advocacy, I know that you know that we are not an ordinary human beings since you were already eight years old when I took you here.”

Salve just nodded.

“You already know the history of our tribes right? and what the werewolves’ tribes had brought to us. The other side of this world is in chaos that is why together with your mom we created our own world out here. We planted a chant in this place that no one could enter except with our permission, one of the reasons why I still believe that your Mother Samantha is still alive for the barrier we’ve made hasn’t weaken ever since, for it will only get weak if one of us die. She’s out there!” Gerttude gave out a sad smile. “This place Salve is full of refugees from our world, the other side. Every month we go to the portal and I open it hoping that I might see your mom or we might be able to help some refugees who are trying to escape from that chaotic world. In the other side of this land is a subdivision for them as to where they are all tasked in helping us all grow. We have shapeshifters, Echanters, Witches and Sorcerers. I did not told you about this since as what I’ve always told you, there is a right time for everything and I want you to focus on making your elf strong.”

“I understand that, I was actually expecting this already since I had always noticed a lot of strange things going on in this place and I am happy that we are not the only one here.” Salve said with delight.

“We are going to meet all of the head leaders today.”

 In a few minutes, each leaders arrived and Gabriel as well.

“Everyone, I want you to meet Salve Salvatore, Samantha’s Daughter in which I also call my own.” Gerttude introduced. “On the 26th of October she will turn eighteen and it will be three weeks from now, a sudden turn of events made me decide to let her know about you since we saw Laura outside the gate this afternoon.” Everyone was just silent. They might had already knew about Laura. “I want you to introduce yourself to her.”

 And in a few minutes she could hear someone talking.

“Well ladies first, I am Crescent Celis.” one of the four people she just met today. She looks very young, she might be just in her twenties, and she is really very pretty indeed. She has a very long hair that she think it could almost reach the ground. “ I am the head leader of all the witches in this land, we take care of all the potions and other vegetation in this land my dear and ofcourse the best doctor comes from us.” She then give out a sweet smile. “Well you might be thinking that witches are ugly, well we are already in the new generation now, we had already discovered how to make our self pretty but we can also turn into an ugly one. I won’t show it to you, since I don’t like it either.” She then walks towards the table and sat next to an empty chair beside Gerttude.

“I am Fredirick Velasco or you can call me Freddy.” The next Head Leader introduce him self and she gave out a questioning face as this person has the same nickname of her driver.

“-and yes my dear I am freddy, Your driver.” He smiles at her and changed his form into an older man.

“Ohh? Is it really you?” she ask as her eyes went wide with amusement.

“Ofcourse this is me.” Freddy chuckled and turned his self back into a younger man who she think is in 6 feet tall or taller than that, his handsome and has a big muscles, he looks like a gym instructor. “I am the head of the shapeshiters in this land my dear, I was always with you since you came, do you think we’ll just leave your safety to some human. That could never happen.”

Knowing that, it made her feel light hearted, upon knowing that Freddy is one of the head leaders then atleast she knows that she could get along just fine with one or two of them. Then she looks at Gabriel who is also seated next to an empty chair beside her. She was really wondering about those empty chairs beside her and Gerttude.

Freddy then sat down beside Crescent.

“I am Cris, Head Leader of the Enchantress.” One of the leader said and walk towards the chair beside Gabriel.

“That’s all Cris? Just that little huh?” Crescent asked with a smirk on her face.

“What do you want me to say?” Cris asked with a serious face.

She looks at Cris, his features are more likely a female than a male, although he has some big muscles though—

“She’s actually a lesbian, stop guessing and questioning yourself Salve.” Crescent suddenly cut her off from her deep body examination with Cris.

“Oh! I see..” She said.

She looks at Cris whose expression didn’t changed.

“Enough of her, I am Vladimir Santi my dearest.” Exclaimed by the last leader standing, and then suddenly with a blink of an eye he is already infront of her kissing her right hand and then lend her a Pink Rose. “I am the head leader of the Sorcerers Love, and I am so sorry to disappoint you but I am already married.” He then gave out a seductive smile and then elegantly walks towards the empty chair beside Cris and Freddy.

“Well I guess that’s it.” Gerttude broke the silence. “Everyone already knows Gabriel right, He is one of the most loyal protector of Salve, He is the head leader of the mansion whenever I and Salve is not around.”

“What are these two empty chairs are for? Why can’t they move closer?” She asked out of curiosity.

“The chair beside me is for Samantha, Your real mother and that chair beside you is for your husband to be.”

 Hearing the word husband to be made her face turned red, she wanted to disagree but she just made her mouth shut.

“Salve’s Birthday is coming up, a turn of events just like what happened was already in my expectation, I just didn’t expect it to be Laura, well some of you might be wondering about Laura, well she is Dominic’s Niece.” Gerttude looks at her as if trying to see her reaction.

“What?” She said “that can not be? She’s just one of my closest friends back then, and I didn’t even know she’s a wolf until today.”

“You heard me right Salve, Laura is your Father’s Niece. Laura Salvatore, and yes your father is a werewolf.”

Salve Gasped upon the revelation she heard and upon hearing the mumbling sound of the rest, she believe that even the leaders didn’t know about it.

“There was never an enchantress and a werewolf child ever before, that is why your 18th birthday is a very special day, for that day will mark as to what will you become.”

Everyone was just listening to Gerttude.

“Your mother fell in love with your father, as it had happened in the past as well but this time your mother is your father’s true mate. It was prohibited that is why they kept it a secret. Your father who was supposed to be the next alpha went rogue and ran away with your mother because their relationship will never be accepted due to the rising war between the us and the wolves. The alpha during that time which is your Grandfather was so mad at them that they were hunted down. Years had gone by when your father and mother got cornered by your grandfather's men. Your father was killed in front of your mother, the wolves tribe didn’t know that your mom was a supreme enchantress, they just thought that she was just an ordinary one, there’s nothing she can do about the death of your father since Dominic had strictly told your mom, that she could never reveal her true identity infront of his people for it might bring a bigger problem. Your mother managed to escape that night and went hiding together with you and Laura. Laura was the daughter of Dominic’s younger sister, who during the time he elopes with your mother, Danica was begging your father not to go and she kept on following him that they did not noticed that they were already in the deep forest until she went labor that night and suddenly gave birth to Laura, He wasn’t able to save Danica’s life that time because the vampires had smelled the blood of a new born that caused the vampires to attack them. Danica was losing so much blood and they are both trying to protect the baby so there’s nothing left to do but a sacrifice. Danica sacrificed her life for her baby. Dominic ran away with Laura and because of what happened the pack of your dad was very angry. Without Danica and Dominic there's no more next in line alpha. Your grandfather was very aggravated that he asked his people to look for your mother, you and they baby Danica gave birth in which they thought was a baby boy." Gerttude sigh after a long explaination.

"That explains why Laura, when she was a werewolf her eyes looks so familiar, she is not just my close friend but my older sister." When she saw Laura this afternoon, deep inside her heart she knew that she knows her.

"Yes! both of you were separated during the time the cottage in which the three of you are staying was attacked that night." 

"I am so glad she's alive, there's no day in my life that I haven't think of mother and her."

"Whatever had happened to her, we will know when she wakes up."

"So does this mean that our Salve here is a Half werewolf and a Half Enchantress, and not just an ordinary enchantress but a supreme one." Crescent said while putting her two hand below her chin. 

"Yes that is right! and on her eighteenth birthday we will know if she will turn into a werewolf or an enchantress." 

"And maybe both." Gabriel suddenly said that made everyone in the room looked at him.

"Perhaps!" Gerttude sigh!
