While Jessica was living through hell, the FBI got a tip that Jessica was in Moscow. They found out that she had been taken to pay a debt by her boyfriend and that the people who took her work for Demitri Ivanov. He deals with human trafficking, prostitution, and drugs. The local police are in his pocket. He can get away with anything because the cops never charge him with anything. The FBI thinks it’s because he has dirt on powerful people in the police force.
The police deny everything, but right now they don’t want to talk to them to let them know they are developing a task force to get Jessica. They figured they would send a team of six of their best agents, since it’s such a hot area and due to it being human trafficking. They deal with human trafficking cases and kidnapping cases all the time. These are the worst type of criminals. They do not care about people, and they do not care about the girls that they kidnap. They are property. It is all about money to them. This is sick about the whole thing. Families are destroyed because of what they do, and they do not care. These girls are never the same. Some have to go through reprogramming because of all the training that they had to go through while they were kidnapped.
They had to survive, so they stopped fighting it. The team was lead by Joseph. Joseph had been a supervisor for 10 years of the FBI and he loved what he was doing. He was great at his job and he knew how to help others around him. His team appreciated him and respected him. There was also Tim, Kayden, Emily, Amanda, and Jacob.
The next two weeks they went over there plan so that they knew it inside and out and then made travel arrangements to get to Moscow, Russia. They needed to do it surprisingly because if the police were to know they would tell Demitri.
