The day fast approached. Too fast. And while Benji and I were going strong, and I loved him more and more with each passing day, I also loved Aaron no less. This is not something I was proud of. If I could have loved just Benji, I would’ve been beyond happy. Sadly, it was completely out of my control. It was as if I had two hearts, two hearts beating for two beautiful men.
“Think we should move?” I asked Ma.
“Bigger mansions?”
I grinned. “I was thinking Utah.”
She looked at me as if I was nuts. Perhaps I was. “Um, no. No thank you.” She walked over and placed her hand on my forehead. That was the extent of her mothering ability. If I’d been hot, she probably would’ve offered me a cocktail. You know, to kill any errant viruses with. “You seem, I don’t know, off.”
