Chapter One

Ann spent her life following the path that was laid for her. Never straying, never living how she dreamed. She went to the college picked for her, worked the job that she was told to work, stayed with the man that was perfect for "her" lifestyle. She's never been asked if it's what she really wants to do. She never knew how to express her unhappiness. Well that was until she met Clavin.
Clavin just moved to town and started at the same college as Ann. She has seen him around a few times and he always looks like he wanted to attack someone or something.
Ann's view on Clavin changed when she literally ran into him. She was late for her lecture and was not paying attention to where she was going. She was even more surprised when he laughed. In her mind time froze and all she could her was that beautiful laugh. She was brought out of her thoughts when she felt a hand grab her gently and start helping her off her ass.
"You okay there little I one?" Clavin asked Ann.
"Ummm... yeah I'm okay. Thank you and sorry for literally running into you." Ann felt like a fool. She turned a dark shade of red as she spoke to him.
"No worries. I'm Clavin. I just transfer here."
"I'm Ann. You have been the talk of campus since you got here."
"Is that so?" Clavin asks.
"Um yeah. I'm sorry I have to run. I'm extremely late for class." Ann replied as she started running down the hall again.
Once she was out of sight of mister mysterious Clavin she stopped to catch her breath and her heart before she made her way into her lecture hall.
