Denine was momentarily thrown off by the sudden tap on her shoulder.
But now as she settled down to look at the man who was speaking, she was thrown off once more.
Her eyes were wide with surprise, and her jaw hung open. She gawked at him. She could not believe that the legendary warrior Joel was speaking to her.
For a brief second, Joel was confused. Did he not articulate himself well? Why was Denice staring at him like he was deformed or something?
