Zara had never fired a gun before. She knew nothing about aiming or anything like that, but surprisingly enough, her shot was spot on. The man jerked, and then his horse slowed as he fell from it onto the ground. Zara turned the gun to the two guys remaining. She clicked the trigger but the weapon stalled. She clicked it again, nothing – it was out of bullets. Not that Joel needed the help, because as soon as he transformed, the bullets were nothing more than a nuisance to him.
