Chapter 15: LisaTerra chose that exact moment to try to take off after a duck which had wandered to the edge of the water, tugging Lisa away from Erin. She didn’t know whether to scold or thank the dog. Lisa quickly regained control, and not just of Terra. “Um, I don’t know what I would have done if you hadn’t been there for Terra. As you can see, she hasn’t learned her lesson, either.” And it appears I haven’t either. Lisa busied herself brushing bits of plant matter and dirt off Terra’s coat with her fingertips. “Silly dog.
