Chapter 6 - The Fight

Bunch of guys versus one girl. Might be unfair but it will do. The men sorrounded Kathie in circle. Having the look of a killer in an instant.

Surely Kath never know that the group is a gang frat that are notorious around the school. That's why no one mess with them. But hearing insults to their Leader is enough to forget that Kath is a fair lady.

A man suddenly jump on Kathie, as the young lady dodge the sudden punch and kick he makes, as she manage to jump over the locker and run on top of it. But then she's been chase by two man, until she stop and jump again this time she landed on the floor, she immediately turn around to those men who chase after her, twisting around her body doing a kick on the man chest and temple.

Kathies move is like a wind, it create no sounds yet are fast and strong. The man groan on the ground as the other stop and look at them.

Kathie change her stance into a fighting position. As they look at her. They shouted in anger as they continue on trying to hit the lady fiercefully.

Kathie took another stance, she held a light distance as she jump again twisting her body in the air as it follows kick that hit the men's jaw, and she did the same to the other without being caught. Only three man left. Including their Leader.

As if theirs a match inside the room as both parties do a circling on each other as they look at each other's next move.

Kathie did not wait this time and run to one of those men. Grabbing it's shoulder with her left arm, and flipping it back. She stay on the men's back, This time she holds his head and throw him through her back flipping it around in the mid air as it hit the floor.

The men lost its conscious, Kathie can feel her breath being ragged, as her chest move up and down faster than before, she inhale and exhales to calm her breathing. When suddenly someone took her neck, using it's arm. Kathie struggle to scape as she feel her breathing slowly decrease making it difficult to breath. She tried to kick but the men are too strong.

"You can't do anything on us, we are stronger than you" the leader said as he holds both kathies cheek in his left hand. His now in front of the lady while it is being hold securely by another ally of the mens bullies.

The leader took a knife on its back pocket, using his right hand he took it on kathies face,ready to make some scars to make the Young lady remember who really have the real control.

It deep on her skin, as now blood can be visible. Kathie close her eyes in pain. When suddenly the grip on her cheek loose, as she open her eyes and see Nancy holding a fire extinguisher in her hand. The leader is now on the floor together with the other men.

Kathie did not waste any second, as she use her foot strength, sweeping her body away from another men's grip at her back. As she scape , she took a Swift stance, and kick it's temple.

Now all men are being beatin, Kathie can feel her heart beat fast, together with her breath as now her back is facing her friend . She turn around to thank Nancy, but Kathie has been surprise and being taken aback, her heart beat faster.

The leader with lots of blood on its head dripping on its face, are now holding her friend, with knife pointed on its neck pulse.

Kathie felt fear for the second time in her life since her past. All the memories turn back on her mind. The cries,the blood, the sound of the gun, and screams, as tears flows on her eyes. Kathie now's in panick, as she put both her hands up, showing surrender.

"Whatever fight we have , Nance doesn't have anything with this, so let her scape, and I promise this will not reach the authorities. Set her free, please, just, please don't hurt her, it was me, So take that knife on me! and not her!" Kathie pleaded as the men laugh on her suggestion.

"You know I might as well be a dumb in doing your request, because WE KNOW THAT BOTH OF YOU WILL DIE IN THIS ROOM!!!" the men responded through his greeted teeth as he now let the knife touch Nancy's skin that cause the lady shut her eyes.

Kathie lost her sanity, as he felt cold, and the word "die" echoed in her mind. Her body tense up as she stare at the men doing his action to end her best friend life.

"Is this the only thing I can do. Is this how much I'm weak, that I can't avoid my love ones being killed in front of me?, Why does it have to be me?, Did I do something wrong? Why? why? Why?!" Kathie thought. As she now see the tears stream in Nancy's eyes cause by the pain she feel.

Everythings is in slow motion in Kathies eyes. Her face is horrified. No, please!.

"Nooooo!!!!!" Kathie feel her body get warmer and warmer, she can feel how it flows through her whole body, from her toes to her head, to her hand. The birthmark of her family in the side of her belly bottom spark. As she can feel new power.

She feel her senses being strengthen, tripled even, her vision, hearing, strength, even smell. But her anger is at full. The lockers moves around, as the ground shakes.

Anger are eating her up. She can feel the power are too much to handle. But she can't let her friend die.

She look once more on Nancy's direction. As it still being hold by the gang leader. The men eyes got widen, as its mouth taking agape on Kathie supernatural power.

Kathie didn't hesitate. She run in the back of the man in split second. It is faster than a thunder. The men did not have the chance to react or make a move. As Kathie raise her hand and swiftly hit the sensitive area on the back of his neck.

A thud can be here, as the body slump on the floor. But Kathie don't know how to control her power. It's getting stronger as now things are floating inside the room. The ground keeps shaking violently together with the lockers inside.

She cries, all the emotion she buried feels like only happens yesterday.

The wall are now cracking. As tears continuously fall in her hazel eyes. Her irises is now turning into sparkling golden yellow.

When suddenly, a hand landed on her cheek it is gentle, warm, and soft.

"Kathie,Calm down. I'm here, I'm safe. We're safe." said Nancy in a soft voice while sniffing.

"Your not alone" Nancy continue, she can feel kathies emotions, everything, she can see it in her eyes.

Kathie slowly close her eyes, as she feel her heart beat slow down together with her breath. Her body slowly going back to normal. As she calm down and open her eyes and stares to Nancy's green one. But the tears won't stop, as it mirror hers.

Kathie hug Nancy tightly, as she sob silently.

"I'm here for you" Nancy whisper on Kathies ear as she hug her back. Nancy never saw Kathie like this before. It never cry even once since she meet the lady long time ago. She didn't know what her best friend are in. But whatever it is,  it must be much to see Kathie this Vulnerable.

A sudden kick in one of the locker is being heard as it follows by humming, grunts, and voice. Kathie and Nancy pull back at each other as they remember Peter.

They both go to the direction of the sound. As they open a locker. Indeed,their friend are inside , clothed only on its pants, as both hands are being tied on his back. And scarf is wrap on his mouth.

They remove the tight grip of scarf, and rope. As they help their friend to stand. After Peter are stable to stand on his own. Kathie and Nancy hug him both.

The young men face are covered with bruises and dry blood, never the less he smile and hug his best friend back.

"What?, did both of you miss me?,"Peter broke the silence, as he spoke to ease the tension.

"Don't be a jerk Peter, of course --" Nancy answered as it stop and look to Kathie. Kathie who got the signal answer with Nancy.

"We don't." Both lady answer as they laugh and slap the man shoulder.

"Really?" Peter frown.

The three friends giggle together on their stupidness despite of the situation. As they still remember that they are still inside the men's locker room with all the bodies that are now on floor.

"I'll make sure that all of them,will not going to show their face inside this school premised or in any school" Peter greeted as he look to those body and kick some of them, as they proceed on walking to the exit.

They decided to report the incident, Peter being the youngest child of one of the most powerful family in the county never have a trouble on making his threat come true. In fact after that day all those men are being expelled. While their Leader are spending it's new life in jail.

Peter made sure the group and every member of that gang will suffer. As the society will not going to accept them in any job, company's,and schools in the future.

The whole story, spread throughout the school but the name of the people who beat the nutorious gang are still mysterious. The three are being protected in any story and issue, as their school life came back into normal after that event.

Some students are glad even happy that the gang are gone now. Some filed report on the same abuse of being bullied by the same gang. As fear is being taken away, relief is a new replace. Other victims found their courage. And are now quite having to enjoy their study.

Meanwhile the three friends are in Kathies Penthouse, Watching some Netflix Movie, as they laze around. It's been 3days since the event happen. And Nance did not once ask Kathie on what she witness that day. Though she have tons of questions to ask, she don't know how to approach Kathie, without making the conversation awkward or surprising for the lady.

While Kathy knows it's not that long until Nance will ask the things that happen that day. But she decided to finally tell the truth. She just hope now that it is the right decision to do.
