17 Identity I arrived here so long ago I’ve forgotten how long, even though I haven’t eaten any of the soup. My host was not present, so I wandered around on my own. It turns out he had more pressing matters, a lot of cases to deal with. I kind of slid under the radar. No matter. I’ve always been the independent sort.
