With Rose gone, I was surprised at how much I missed her. I had barely even known her, and now it felt like she took away my reason for even being here in the way station. I saw that she got to her new home safely. Her new name was Clara. She lived with her son and his wife in a house in Florida. All of them retired and enjoying the good life. Clara had this odd feeling that something had changed, but she couldn’t tell what. She didn’t let it bother her. Life was never better for her than now, with her family around her and her days full.
Then I realized this was why I was here. I wanted to put people in good situations. I wanted to see Rex end up where he ended up, where he wanted to be. I liked seeing Rose get a good life for a change. Who wouldn’t want to do something like
