6 Saguaro Even though Rex wasn’t sure if he wanted to stay in Tucson for much longer, he did know he wanted to be in Louisa’s general vicinity at least for the next few months, so he and Morris moved out of the hotel room and took a more spacious, cleaner, and brighter apartment in the north of town, not too far from Louisa’s house. He bought a car, used but sound, which he drove to Phoenix every day, two hours north, where he practiced his profession, then returned home. While he was gone he left Morris in Louisa’s care.
