CHAPTER 14: Mirabella's POV The doorbell rang, once, twice. I didn’t want to get out of bed. Whoever it was could go to hell. The bell rang again, and I groaned, reluctantly throwing my covers off of me. I put on my robe and made my way downstairs. Giovanni hadn’t taken what I said to him the other day very well at all. He was pissed beyond control. But I didn’t care. I wasn’t about to leave one cage just to enter another—no matter how enticing it was or how much my body ached for his touch.
