57 I had the sensation of almost weightlessness as Darion wheeled me through the corridors toward his quarters. It was so good to get out of the Medical Facility. I still couldn’t walk or see, but Darion had assured them he could look after me. I’d been eating solid foods for a day and had regained almost all feeling all over. Just not enough to coordinate my legs yet. And I no longer had the annoying tube in my nose. I still felt anxious about it all. I was so afraid I would be stuck like this, or maybe stuck without my sight, and that Darion would be stuck with me forever, always looking after me and being my eyes. I didn’t want that.
