7 I was supposed to rest, but that was impossible. I’d spent the rest of the day and half the night thinking about it all and searching through the memories in my mind. I’d been lying in bed trying to sleep, but I was too wide awake, too restless. The thoughts in my head were no longer tumbling over each other, and now that they were coherent, I could focus on them.
