She spun her head to look at Troy and he sunk in his seat and scanned the ceiling, clearly feeling guilty. “All of it sounds like he sought you out and genuinely wanted to be around you, Rosie. There’s nothing you could have done, except for what you did do, and that was telling him you guys couldn’t hang out anymore. I can’t imagine how hard it must have been for you, and I have a lot of respect for you for doing that.”
