Chapter 14I cried like never before the whole way home, keeping my facemask down. I skidded the bike into my back yard and ran inside with my backpack, locking the door behind me and diving onto my bed. My tablet was beeping non-stop, and I pulled it out to see fifteen missed calls and ten texts from Malaki. Serene1: I don’t want to talk to you. Being with you was a mistake.
