Chapter sixty-six

I can't even control myself. I can't stop myself from shuddering with the heat Henry has passed across to me.
He pulls back and turns me around slowly, "you look pretty."
I manage a smile, though I feel incoherent.
"That means I will be sleeping with you tonight!" He announces, his hands moving slightly to my shoulders again.
I shiver again, "I didn't say_," I started only to be stopped by a finger on my mouth.
" No more words Hattie," he says thickly, " We have a party to attend. Let's go," he took my hand and started leading me out without another word.
When we were by the door, he stops briefly and looks back at me, "Don't forget your promise."
I smile and let him lead me out.
So, that was how we spent the day. Henry succeeded in buying them all for me
