My heartbeat increases and it feels like it's going to rip out of my chest. My hands shake and I feel my legs break down under me. If I was standing,o might have faltered.
Declan was still watching me with that all-knowing eyes, "Don't you think?"
I look away, fidgeting in the process. How the heck did he know I was a surrogate? Well, it's palpably clear, isn't it?
