This feels good. I can't believe this got settled so quickly. Thank God I decided to track the girl that got Declan so obsessed.
I put a call through to my mom. She picks up immediately, "Hello," her tired voice did nothing to convince me if she was tired because of work or if she was tired of me.
I can't say she's not both. Since I'm an only child, I tend to give them a lot of headaches.
My dad can threaten to disown me but he wouldn't be able to do that. I'm his only legitimate son.
And well, his other illegitimate children are all daughters. So technically speaking, I'm still the only male child that he has.
And I think the main reason why mom agreed that this marriage should hold is that I haven't been able to provide my choice of a woman.
