Chapter nine
I look at him again, at his handsome face. I now see what Hattie saw in him. Just being close to him gives me chills. I don't believe I crushed on him briefly.
No, that can never happen.
"What the f**k are you talking about?" His wide eyes watch me for a while. His lips parted slightly and I feel like kissing him again.
I must be going insane. Or this man must be a sorcerer. If he thinks Hattie will divorce her husband, then he's making a big mistake. He is going to wait forever.
"I'm telling you what your brain refuses to tell you. Do you even know my nickname?" I smirk at him, "it's a snail. I will always stay on the side of truth."
He chuckles lightly, "Your nickname doesn't even match the description. Does snail tell the truth?"
