"Kai, wait for me!” Jade dashed out of the car and grabbed Kai's arm, her head leaned on Kai's stocky shoulder. “How do I look? My evening dress is nice, isn't it?”
"Hmm." Kai sighed wearily, answering flatly. “You're not a kid anymore, Jade.” He let go of Jade's hand subtly. “Behave well; don't embarrass me; there are many prominent business envoys present.”
Jade giggled cheerfully. Her face turned bright pink. “Well, don't hesitate to ask me if you need my help to meet an essential guest. Maybe I can get them to work with you. I'll be with you for the whole party."
“Come on, Rena. I'll help you.” Jeo opened the car door for Rena and reached out to her. He smiled brightly, and praised her with a sunshiny face. “You look so hella beautiful tonight.”
