"It's getting late, Kai.” Ares sighed deeply, “it's almost midnight. Are you sure you're still looking for Rena?"
Kai finished his canned drink. Leered at Ares. "You and Arthur go back to the hotel first. I continue my own search. I used my scent instinct, too, but I couldn't find Rena."
"As long as Rena uses Goddess Mage Tears, we'll have a hard time tracking her lifeblood." Ares chuckled. "I can't let you go looking for her alone. Anyway, I asked you to come to Vermont. I'll keep you company."
Arthur pulls over right before Ares and Kai. He exited of the car after pulling in the handbrake. "How? You find anything, King Halvard?"
"There isn't one yet." Ares shook his head wearily, handing Arthur a canned drink and a stuffed sandwich.
