"Grand Master Morgenstern arrives!"
Luther Tiberius sighed; he focused on sharpening the beloved sword in his residence's backyard. The blade of the sword seemed to shimmer under a moping expanse of silvery cloudy sky so that Luther could see the reflection of his face and the arrival of Kaius approaching from behind with Beta Mael and Hunter Arlo — of course, those who had always been loyal to him.
Just like Luther did with Nolan and Shaera.
"I have never doubted your faithfulness, Luther. Five decades later, you still take good care of that sword." Kai has always sincerely praised Chief Chaser's leadership. "You loved my dad, huh?"
Snow falls slowly; behind the residence of Tiberius Manor, nothing is more pleasant than the view of the Arkmunster Mountains. The headwaters of the clear tributaries stretch, all gray, and a light fog envelopes the peaks of Arkmunster — rows of trees with shoots and branches wooded down due to the snow.
Luther felt and calculated the sharpness of his sword carefully. His face turned bright red from wrath. He was waiting for Kaius' visit here after what happened in the forest. Luther could not take it for granted. He had committed the most shameful mistake before the Tomb of Nolan and Shaera, leaving the werewolf Woman Alive to witness that ridiculous miracle. Never before had Luther Tiberius felt so failed as this.
[Swing!]
Unexpectedly, Luther swung his sword with a deadly incision — then attacked Kaius. The surprise attack sliced open the long coat on Kaius' chest until it tore wide. Exposing the heavily muscled figure beneath his blue shirt.
[Clang!]
Kai jumped back, grabbed the Longclaw sword on the sharpening table, and parried Luther Tiberius' furious attack in time. As their swords clashed in a fierce battle, Kaius moved swiftly, avoiding Luther's swift and troublesome lacerations.
[Swing!]
[Braak!]
The wooden chair split in two when Luther's sword scored it. Kai moves backwards, avoiding the rampage mindlessly.
"You humiliated me before Sir Nolan and great mother Shaera!" Luther roared furiously and jumped up, lifting the Strider sword in his high grasp.
[Klang!]
Once again, they wrestled defending swords and attacks; flames splashed out as sword blades collided. Luther Tiberius is Nolan Morgenstern's chosen swordsman, one of the best combatants on the battlefield, and Chaser's head of security, who puts his mission, Nolan's, or Shaera's orders above his own life.
Like sword training, Luther taught Kaius his talents and skills as a child. It is no different from the past training days. Nolan gave Luther the honorary title of swordmaster. No one has been able to defeat the greatness of Luther more than Nolan Morgenstern.
"Whatever you're thinking right now. You're thinking too shallow, Luther!" Kaius let out a hissing giggle, this time kicking Luther in the stomach, who was not expecting the movement, forcing him to tip over backward. "Sorry, mentor."
Luther got up somewhat staggered; his stomach felt nauseous, and Kaius' powerful kick shook consciousness. He stuck the tip of Strider's sword into the ground to balance his body.
"Shallow, you say?! Please give me a good reason to accept your deviant actions! Because I felt lied to! If your parents were alive, what reaction would they show?! As furious as I am!"
[Klang!]
This time, Luther grabbed a single Excalibur sword in his left hand, then leaped forward, swinging a series of elegant double rips that forced Kai to retreat again. Repeatedly, their swords joined, and a clattering sound echoed. Luther was serious about this double attack.
[Brag!]
Their breath is hunting. Kaius did not give up on Luther. It's a lot of fun. When his mentor was furious, the movement and attack of his nimble sword were like the beauty of a ballerina dancing and sliding on the snow ice — perhaps, so agile because Shaera always expressed it that way. Kai's silver eyes shone brilliantly enthusiastically. "I think they'll accept it. About the prophecy, didn't you see their reaction yourself?"
"I told you, putting a maple tree there is ridiculous!" Luther snorted, still foolishly attacking Kaius. "Elder Montague is too superstitious!"
[Klang!]
"Is it not in this way that we remember them and feel their presence, Luther? Admit it. Because when I saw her earlier, I felt Shaera was there."
With one lightning-fast straight jab, Luther almost managed to take Kaius down if only he hadn't fended him off with a deft maneuver. The sword rattled again; Kai pressed down on Longclaw, strengthening his shoulder power to lock in Excallibur's movement; when he noticed Luther's arm muscle weakness slackening — Kai quickly turned it so that the sword in his mentor's hand bounced far in the air.
[Slab!]
Excalibur sticks dramatically over a snowdrift.
Kai smiled excitedly. "Open your mind, mentor. You'll understand what my real purpose is."
Luther hissed, Strider still in the grip of his right hand. Fast-forward again. "You are out of your mind! Bring the werewolf here! I should have killed her yesterday! Where is she now? Do I need to go to the Mansion and finish her there?!"
"There is no use in your wrath, Luther!" Kai insisted on his speech and ran forward, lifting Longclaw in hand. Expressive smile. Against Luther's frontal. "Because it won't change anything or my decision!"
[Slide!]
Strider's sword was thrown from Luther's hand, causing a loud, ear-splitting sound, and then, with one blow, Kai defeated his mentor.
Luther knelt, sitting in the snow. This situation reminded him of his epic fight against Nolan. The reason Luther submitted to him was because Nolan was able to defeat him in a fierce battle.
Kai raised the pointed end of Longclaw to Luther's head. He smirked smugly. A deep sigh and shrugged his shoulders. This cool air can permanently relieve his mind. That's why he liked his visit to Tiberius Manor. However, Kai lowered his sword, sticking it on a snowdrift. "An entertaining fight. For an older man like you, you're still amazing. Thank you for welcoming me so well."
"Why?!" Luther snorted irritably, though there was nothing he could do. Under the falling snow of the gear, he glimpsed at Kaius sarcastically.
"I can't tell anyone my plans. One thing I need to make clear to you is Stay Out of It." Kai stated calmly, as calm as the ripples of the water of the Arkmunster mountain river estuary.
This scene thrilled Luther; he could see it. Nolan Morgenstern's shadow seemed to follow Kaius's figure. Just like when he was young. The only remaining successor to the family throne, the Golden Order. Luther also considers Kai his son; of course, he doesn't want anything to happen to Kai. He swore about it, as long as he breathed.
"She's a werewolf, son! Whatever your goal is, whatever you're thinking about. Don't forget your parents and miss Rochelle's death. Did you forget that?!" Luther muffled his glass-rattling voice.
"Who said I forgot it? If you get in my way, that is what will happen. I know what I have to do."
"Don't betray me, son," Luther begged, rising from the snowdrift. "When you get to do that. I won't be able to protect you."
"Your accusations are baseless," Kai responded, turning away from Luther.
Luther approached Kai, patting him on the shoulder. Whisper through husky tones. "I've never seen you so enthusiastic." There was a pause, a long, deep sigh. "You know what, son? You're just like Sir Nolan when he fell in love with Great mother Shaera."

"I have spent it. Thanks. Danika."
Danika grinned kindly. Today, she can breathe a sigh of relief. "Thank Goddess, Miss. If there's anything you want, say it. Don't hesitate, I'll help you."
"Why did you do it?" Rena wiped her mouth with a napkin. "Since the first time we met. The only one who is nice and kind to me is you."
[I would love to suspect Danika, but I can't. She's an innocent young Omega girl who can't lie. In her twinkle, wistful eyes reflected her sincerity. Besides, I didn't sniff Danika's evil aura. Can she be trusted?] Rena bit her lower lip, hiding this thought of hers in the deepest recesses.
"Because the Grand Master ordered me to care for you, Miss. His commands are absolute. It was the first time I trusted him so much. The residents of Lakeview do not want to disappoint the Grand Master. Everyone is working to the best of their abilities." Danika poured hibiscus tea into cups and moved the used dishes to the trolley.
"I feel so guilty." Rena sighed deeply. "I thought you were going to poison me — I know you must hate me a lot. During this bloody war, there has been no end. I was even banished by my clan."
[YOU ID**T! CAN'T YOU WORK PROPERLY?! USELESS WAITER! ]
Rena aghast from the chair, hearing the screams, cries, and shouts of wrath of a woman whose voice was familiar to Rena's ears. "Who is it?!"
"Wait, Miss!" Danika prevented Rena from leaving her room; she shook her head, clasping Rena's fingers tightly. Her eyes lit up, asking for help. "I beg you, don't get involved with Miss Lorelei — she is always like that. Better not deal with her."
"Oh yes, of course. Jade Lorelei." Rena hissed bitterly. [Kaius warned me about this woman. Help me out? She's threatening me and hates me for being here.]
Danika forbid Rena to leave. "Let it go, Miss. Later, it also subsided. It happens almost every day. Don't mind."
"That's too much, Danika. Did you hear that? How arrogant! It can’t be allowed!" Rena growled in a hard tone.
[YOU ID**T! MINDLESS! HOW USELESS ARE YOU!]
[Braak!]
[Prang!]
A full of hysterical terror fills the air. "Somebody! Help me!"
