CHAPTER 5

Lyra Ashveil. Our tongues danced together. After five hot seconds, Kael pulled away from me. A fire flashed in his eyes but immediately died out. I raised my finger and touched his lips. “Oh baby don’t get too feisty. I’ll let you ravage me all you want after I become your Luna.” Kael didn’t reply. I pulled him by his neck tie towards the door and stopped there. I turned back and pressed my hands against his rock hard chest. “Now baby, you’ll do as I say.” “Yes.” Kael growled. I giggled. “Don’t try to resist me so much, I know you want me.” I took a step closer and gave Kael a chaste kiss. I traced a circle on his chest. “I do love a strong man though.” Heat spread from my core. I wanted nothing more than for Kael to push me on the bed and be the beast that he is. I sighed. “As much as I also want to have fun with you, we have to get serious now.” Kael stood still and gave no reply. “Now, when we leave here you’ll tell the guards not to allow that b***h, Amara in here.” Kael didn’t reply. “Say yes if you understand.” “Yes.” Kael said grudgingly. I giggled. “Now if you keep acting like that then I won’t be able to help myself.” My arm moved as fast as a serpent and grabbed his crotch. Kael’s eyes widened slightly. I could feel the weight of him in my hands. I giggled. “Why are you so excited if you don’t want this? Are you excited by the idea of going behind Amara’s back and having your way with me?” I leaned closer to Kael and let my breasts rub against his chest. “If you’re so righteous then why are we alone like this?” Kael turned his head away. I pulled away from him with a scoff. “I’ll get ready then we’ll go outside and talk. It feels stuffy in here.” I moved to Kael’s bed and picked my robe off the ground. It seemed like a waste to leave here just like that. I even had to mesmerize the guards to get in here. But it wasn’t really that hard, none of them were real men like Kael. I smiled to myself. Kael might still be resisting now but soon he’ll be mine forever. I only need to get rid of one pest. I donned my robe and walked back to Kael. “Let’s go.” Kael nodded his head and opened the door. I walked behind Kael and left the room. “What?” One of the guards exclaimed as I walked out. I smiled. I couldn’t imagine how he thought got into the room. “Who are you?” The low life dared to ask me. I glared at him. “Baby…” I snapped my fingers. A white light flashes in Kael’s eyes. Kael turned back to the guards. He easily towered over them. Both of them took a step back and pressed themselves against the wall. “Do not question my woman.” The guards didn’t reply and only nodded their heads. I walked to Kael and intertwined my arms with his. My robe slipped slightly and exposed the top of my cleavage. I enjoyed how the guards averted their eyes. “Also don’t let anyone into this room apart from us.” I added with a smile. The guard looked back at me with doubt. Of course he was more game. “Cole! If she tells you to do anything I told you to do it. Understand?” Kael backed me up. “Yes Sir.” Cole replied snappy. I laughed. The sight of him trying to phase back into the wall was too hilarious. Cole looked at me with sweat on his head while the other guard tried to act invisible. “Let’s go baby.” I tugged at Kael’s arm. Kael and I walked away. We stepped out of the manor and entered into his garden. The moonlight shone on us. It was a truly beautiful black night. “This reminds me of the night I met you. Fifteen years ago.” I reminisced. “You probably won’t remember.” I could still remember the only man who had lent a helping hand to a poor girl. I was on my knees on the dusty ground and Kael had given me his hand. I grabbed that hand and he pulled me up. That memory kept me alive through the years till I came back. My parents have been accused of being traitors and were executed. I was banished for their alleged crimes. In exile I had discovered my strength. I raised my free hand and a thick black mist oozed out. Now I was back and this time no one would dare push me around. “Tomorrow you’re going to order the execution of Amara and I will become your Luna.” I felt Kael stiffen in my arms. I turned to him. I placed my hands on his cheek and turned it to face me. “She’s going to come between us as long as she lives.” Kael shook his head. I frowned. He was resisting me too much, at this rate… “Fine, then you’ll send her away. In exile.” Kael didn’t react. “Good.” It wasn’t what I wanted but it would have to do. For now. … I waved as Amara was dragged out of my hall. She was unceremoniously tossed out and the doors were slammed behind her. “Sit down!” Kael commanded from the podium. The rowdy crowd immediately sat down. The murmurs continued. I was the only one left standing. I stepped out of the pew and into the center of the church. I wore a black strapless body con dress with a high side slit. My black elbow length gloves held a bouquet of white moon flowers and my black heels clicked against the marble floor. I walked through the center and climbed up the podium. Kael took my hand in his. His eyes flashed black. “You look beautiful, my queen.” I smiled. “You flatter me.” The elder officiating looked with doubt at Kael. “What is this?” I laughed. “Are you a scandalized old man?” A collective gasp came from the crowd. “Continue the ceremony!” Kael commanded. “But…what about Amara, your mate?” The elder asked. I smiled and waited for Kael to rebuke her. He didn’t say a word. I looked into his eyes and saw regret there. I gritted my teeth. “Continue the ceremony!” I screamed. “Oh.” Was the only thing the elder could say Ashe scrambled to obey me. The ceremony would continue and I would become Luna. But even with all that, Amara still needed to die. No one else would have Kael except me. I smiled to myself as Kael took his oaths. It’s a good thing I already had a plan in place to get rid of the b***h. Amara was already in my trap and she won’t survive it.
