I hadn’t left my room in three weeks. James had taken over all of my Alpha duties, and I didn’t get out of bed. Nat brought me food every day and checked on me, but I screamed at anyone else to get out, including my mother. I couldn't face them, any of them, I was so ashamed. I had done this to myself, and only had myself to blame. I had considered leaving the pack several times. Maybe if I went and looked for her, maybe that would prove that I loved her and she might consider taking me back. Nat knocked gently on the door and entered without waiting for an answer.
