CLEAR RECALL
Loredana and Isabella abruptly rose from their seats, staring at one other. Elena turned towards them raising her eyebrows. She looked furious, but he couldn’t blame her. If she’d done something like that to Francesco, he’d think twice about speaking to her again.
“See you later, Francesco,” said Isabella while Loredana nodded in greeting. As they both stepped out of the coffee shop, Elena’s eyes roamed the surrounding area as if to avoid the confrontation. She looked gorgeous in a halter top and a fitted mini-skirt, even as she stood up about to leave. Her hair was tied up in a loose bun with tendrils falling down her flushed cheeks. He wanted to wrap his arms around her and never let her go.
“Please don’t go, Elena. Just hear me out. I remember everything.”
