LOST CONNECTION
When she’d cried herself empty, Elena wiped her eyes and forced herself to think the situation through. She wondered why Francesco had invited her over when he had another woman in his bed. Did he want to hurt her on purpose? Did he plan on her finding out? He’d told her he cared deeply about her, but that was obviously a ruse to get her in his bed. He’d made her fall in love with him and once she did, he betrayed her.
Maybe this was his way of breaking up with her. A way for her to break up with him rather than the other way around. The bastard! She’d trusted him with her heart and body, and now he treated her like discarded rubbish. She’d wasted her virginity on a user; a man with no morals; no honour; and no human decency.
