Look who’s here

Beth gets off work and jumps in her car to go pick lex up from her best friends house. After a 15 minute drive she arrives at Tia’s house and walks upstairs. Walking through the door she yells “Lex mommy’s back come here”. Before she realizes that the atmosphere is off around her Alexander jumps on his mom hugging her.

Alexander: “mom you been gone too long. I missed you but god mommy gave me candy. We leave now?”

Beth: I know little man I had to work today, we’ll leave in a bit okay. How about you go eat your candy in Tia’s room.

Alexander says“okay mom but not too long we need dinner” before leaving the room.

Emily clears her throat and says “So Beth I was trying to figure out why Alexander called John da da? I find it pretty strange so is there something y’all need to say to me?”

Beth’s mouth drops wide open for a second. She looks at John but his head is down. She looks back at me and she smirks okay John is lex’s dad.

So now you know anything else? I’ve wanted to tell you for a long time but our man wasn’t ready. John you can finally break up with her cats out of the bag now. Emily picks up a cup of juice that was sitting at the table when she arrived and threw it on John.

“You bastard! So y’all have been a secret family behind my back while I’ve been away at school?” Emily yelled! Her blue eyes now dark and filled with anger and hurt.
