When we returned home and finished our junk food feast, Edward received a call from the hospital and had to rush back to work. It seems there was a new patient that needed his immediate help. As he was rushing out he offered to call Judith or take me with him, but I knew that I would only get in the way of either of them and could cost someone their life. So it would be better and more logical if I stayed home. He wasn't happy about leaving me alone after I had fainted the last time he left me alone, but he had no other choice and had assured him that I would be alright, and that I had my phone with me if anything happened. Sure, a part of me did not want him to leave. I very much enjoyed being the center of his attention, but I knew how important his work was. And I was happy to stay home
