I left work a little early hoping to get Melanie flowers on the way. The new surgeon was good, and she will do great, but working today I understood a few things.
First, I wasn't ready to return to work there... not that I am sure if ever will be.
Second is that I no longer had the drive to work for long hours as the fire wasn't burning in me anymore.
And third, I really missed Melanie.
So I guess we will need to figure out something else to do.
I got a huge bouquet of red roses and I rushed up to our new apartment.
My heart was singing with happiness and I had a surprise for her today. A small dark green box was burning a hole in my pocket.
