There was only cold darkness around me. I felt like I was floating away in it.
In a way, it felt as if I was dreaming. As in, it was not real or maybe more like I was not able to move or do anything.
So maybe more along the lines of a nightmare, then a typical dream as it was so cold and dark.
I was pretty sure I was floating in dark cold water, that was carrying my body where it wanted. Waves were throwing my body around, pushing me underwater more than a few times, but all I could do was lie there. More than a few times, my body hit something hard, but for some reason I did not feel any pain, just wet and cold.
At some point, I finally stopped moving, as my body collided with something warm.
