Finally, the boat slowly stopped, and I felt Edward move. As he moved, my instincts told me to open my eyes, but I still refused to even open them. Instead, I clung to him as tightly as I could as he slowly stood up with me in his arms and stepped out of the boat.
In a few moments, the rumble of the motor and the sea were replaced by the sounds of people, the sounds of their laughter, shouts and talking. With every moment, I heard less and less of the sea as it was overpowered by the noisy people and I felt my body relax.
After a few moments, Edward stopped and leaned closer to my ear.
"We are on solid ground, you can open your eyes... and if I'm correct... in the fairy tails... when the little mermaid reaches land... she gets her legs... so I guess you can walk now."
