Chapter 8 – I'm Good at This

"It's faster if you rob the bank!" Gina's cheeks puffed up from anger. Stephen huffed a puff and sneered at her, "You know how to weigh the value." "My foot! Do you call that service? You were trying to rip me apart!" Gina was going mad. This was the first time she's met someone more shameless than herself. "I asked you for a photo. No one asked you to do that. Look at me. You left hickeys everywhere!" "And over here too! You should be paying me!" Stephen didn't expect his wife to be such a clown. "You still want the photos?" He asked. "Keep it for yourself," Gina said arrogantly. The older man had seen it anyway. It didn't matter anymore. "I'm not sure what would happen if these photos were leaked onto the internet," Stephen said as he snapped the photos into his phone. Gina caught a glimpse of her naked back. "Asshole! You took photos without my permission!" She turned green with fear. He started admiring the photos on his phone, "You were the one who asked for photos." Gina gritted her teeth. She was fuming with anger. Alright, it was her fault for sleeping with him. But three million seemed like a number she'd never be able to afford. Not even if she sold her organs. She humbled herself and tried to bargain her way softly. "Mr. Big Shot, I'm still a student. Would you mind giving a discount? Hmm?" The scenes from the other night flashed into his mind once more. His blood was boiling within. Her high-pitched voice was highly seductive. He remained silent, and she immediately interrupted his thoughts. "I'll address you as an uncle. That means that our level of intimacy has escalated. How does a 50% discount sound? I'll foot $100 for your transportation fee, and for the rest, I'll pay up in installments?" She's good at bargaining. "You're trying to disrupt the market price?" He peered at her. "I swear that this will be between us. I'll even help you in promoting your service, okay?" She pleaded with her palms together. Stephen was rendered speechless. How did he end up marrying such a dumb woman? "Give me your phone number. I'll return the photos when I get the money." Gina wrote her number on his palm, and she felt as though she was being electrocuted when she touched him. "You're not going to make a copy, aren't you?" He wanted to grab her hands so badly, but he missed it. "Done. Since our relationship is unique, I'll address you as uncle from now on. Uncle, it's been a long day. Go home and rest!" She said as she circled his tense body. "I've not eaten yet." He replied. "Go ahead." Gina stuffed another $10 note in his palms, wondering why it did have to do with her. Gina ached in her heart as she handed her living expenses over to this asshole. "You don't seem to be rich. Why don't you buy me meals from now on?" He smirked at his suggestion. Gina wondered if he could be any more shameless than this?! …. In the end, Gina agreed to head over with him to get her blueprints. She saw that he was parked next to a yellow car. So he's working two jobs, as an escort and a taxi driver. Gina didn't give much thought to it, and Stephen had already opened the door of the other car next to it. A Passat? "Your key… Passat?" Gina asked. Stephen was rendered speechless by this clown of a wife he had. "This is my car." "What did you just say? I'm sorry, I didn't hear you the first time?" Stephen rubbed his nose and smiled. "You drive… a Passat?" She asked again. "It's a Phaeton." He replied. "Something's wrong…." He found her expression to be oddly funny. She was on the verge of a mental breakdown. "What about that?" "How many people have you scammed to be able to afford this?" She finally realized what kind of person he was. It's no wonder that his service was only $300. He's a scam! She's not the only one, or else how would he be able to afford this ride? "I rented it for business use." He smiled. "Oh. I guess personal branding matters in your field." Gina seemed to have accepted his excuse. This was the first time she's been in such an expensive car, and she couldn't help but start touching all over. "Are you collecting King's masterpieces because he's already stopped drawing?" He broke the silence. King's complete collection would've been priceless. It's not something money can buy. Gina was stunned for a moment. She had a reason, a secret reason for collecting King's masterpieces. It's kept to herself. "Women will only bring catastrophe. I heard that he started architectural designing because of a woman, and she was the reason he stopped too. Even my idol cannot escape from a woman's grasp." She looked at Stephen mockingly, "He's a man. You're a man. Why are you selling your body?" She looked at him. He should've used his good looks in sales and marketing instead. He would've performed well in it. Why did he go down this road? "Well, I'm skilled in this." He smirked as the sun shone on his well-defined face. Gina gulped at the sight of his beauty. "What skill?" She asked stupidly. He sat up straight, wriggling his waist, indicating the answer. "Haven't you tried it before?" Gina turned around and looked out the window. He's such an ass! She's not talking to him anymore! Triagonal Alley was where many underground transactions occurred, including Gina's. They've arrived at the usual place. Gina got her deals sealed. "Fiery Tea," Gina mentioned her online ID to clarify her identity. "I'm not doing this trade with you anymore." The other girl held the bag in her arms tightly.
