I had come to realise that I had perhaps been a little too hard on Elsie. Sure, she had been careless and could probably work on being more cautious, but I felt my approach was harsh.
I woke up that morning with Elsie on my mind, and how I wanted to do something nice for her. I would take her out, so we could spend some time together and hopefully bond a little.
It was only fair I should actually get to know the nanny of my daughter.
Picking up my phone as I laid in bed, the blanket barely covering my naked form. I must have kicked them off in my sleep last night with warmth.
I began to message Elsie -
'I've made some plans for today, get Gracie ready for a walk in the park. Meet me downstairs when you're ready,'
