The old familiar stained bricks on the wall brought back past memories as I walked through the hallway. It seemed like I haven't been in this building for years, whereas it was just for a few months.
I would have wanted to do everything possible to not come to this place anymore but it seemed to be the only way I could escape from Alaric for at least 7 hours.
I could see some wolves staring at me as I walked by, some were whispering while some hissed at me and it all seemed so funny to me because before Alaric came I was a nobody and they never cared about my affairs even though I was in a relationship with Asher.
