---POV: Esa--- Once we had all piled into the SUVs Fallon sent his guards to get, it felt like a weight was lifted off my mind. No more having to be polite to that woman and no more living in the bubble of false tranquility. A tranquility that even its inhabitants couldn’t maintain in their actions towards my pack. I knew we were unwanted from day one. I’m not oblivious, but it might be nice to finally interact with my own kind. We were about a couple hours into the drive, and I enjoyed the peace while I pushed Jason, Dawn and Abs’s little conversation into white noise and Fallon had the music playing quietly. “Your own kind, indeed.” I shot up, almost smacking my head on the ceiling of the car. Fallon shot a stare my way and even I was shocked. What the hell…who the hell was in my head?
