I slowly begin to regain consciousness. At first, there is only darkness deep and heavy, as if I am rising from the depths of a long, endless sleep.
My head feels unbearably heavy, my mind numb and disoriented. I open my eyes little by little, but nothing appears clear. Everything is blurred, spinning around me.
I blink repeatedly, struggling to focus. My eyes sting, as if they are fighting against the light. Gradually, I realize that I am in a dark room. Silence surrounds me, so deep that the sound of my own breathing begins to scare me.
The room feels completely empty no windows, no pictures, nothing familiar. Above me, a single yellow bulb hangs, casting a dim glow. Its light creates strange, shifting shadows on the walls, making them seem alive.
Panic grips me as I look around. My heart pounds violently in my chest. I can feel the weight of every breath I take.
Then my eyes fall on a chair placed in the center of the room. Just one chair.
The sight only deepens my fear. A chill runs through my body, and countless questions rise in my mind all at once how did I get here? Why was I brought here?
I look down at my hands, then at my feet. I try to move, slowly, carefully. I stumble slightly but manage to steady myself. Only then do I realize I had been sitting on the floor.
Gathering whatever courage I have left, I push myself up and stand. My legs feel weak, trembling beneath me, but fear itself is holding me upright.
Then… I hear the sound of footsteps.
My breath catches instantly. For a moment, my heart seems to forget how to beat. The sound is soft, yet so clear that it echoes inside my ears. Someone is coming slowly.
I straighten immediately. My body tenses. My eyes lock onto the door. I gather all my strength and stare in that direction, unable to look away.
Suddenly, the door begins to open slowly.
The masked man slowly enters the room. The door shuts heavily behind him, and with that sound, my heart starts pounding violently. The light in the room is dim and yellow, but the air feels heavy like even breathing is a crime.
I try to step back, but my back hits the cold, hard wall. There is nowhere left to run.
He comes closer in a terrifying way. So close that I can feel the warmth of his breath. My heart beats wildly inside my chest, and my fingers tremble uncontrollably.
Then… He slowly removes his mask. For a moment, my breath stops.
I stare at him in shock. He is extremely handsome sharp features, a strong jawline, and a face that doesn’t belong to an ordinary man. But then,
His eyes…!!
His eyes are exactly like Max’s the same coldness, the same darkness, the same terror. It feels as if Max himself is standing in front of me.
My voice trembles, “W-who are you? Why… why have you brought me here?”
Instead of answering, he steps even closer. So close that my body instinctively tries to move away from him.
“S-stay away…” I whisper, barely able to speak.
But he doesn’t stop.
He comes right in front of me. My body presses against his, and I feel as if even my soul is shaking.
The next moment, he grabs both my hands, lifts them, and slams them against the wall above my head.
A sharp pain shoots through my wrists.
In a deep, rough voice, he says, “I am the one whose brother died because of you.”
My eyes widen in horror, “Y-you… Max’s brother?”
His face turns red with rage. Suddenly, he yells, “DON’T YOU DARE TAKE HIS NAME FROM YOUR MOUTH!”
His voice is so terrifying and commanding that my entire body starts trembling. My throat goes dry. He tightens his grip on my wrists even more.
“Ahhh…” I scream.
“It hurts… you’re hurting me…”
Without any mercy, he replies, “Hurt? You have only begun to feel pain.”
He brings his face dangerously close to mine so close that I can see the burning madness in his eyes.
He points the gun at my head.
“Sign,” he says coldly.
“I won’t… I don’t even know what this is,” I say, crying.
“Sign, or I shoot,” he says.
My hands tremble as I take the pen.
“Please… don’t do this,” I say.
“Sign it,” he says.
Tears fall as I’m forced to sign the contract.
“From today onward, you are dead to the world,” he says in a slow, poisonous voice,
“Your breaths will depend on me.”
“You will live by my will.”
“You will die inch by inch by my will.”
“You will speak by my will.”
“You will eat by my will.”
“You will smile by my will.”
Every word cuts into my heart like a knife.
Crying, with a trembling voice, I say, “I-I haven’t done anything, Why are you doing this to me?”
He leans closer in anger and snaps, “Enough!! I don’t want to hear a single word.”
There is nothing in his eyes except hatred, “You are responsible for my brother’s death, From now on, you are dead to everyone… and even to yourself.”
Tears stream down my face, “No… please… Let me go…Otherwise my brother will kill you…”
At that, he grabs my cheek harshly. His fingers dig into my skin.
“Your brother,” he says quietly,
“I can have him killed right this moment.”
Then he moves even closer, a venomous smile spreading across his face, “But no… I will make him die slowly, in agony.”
And then his voice grows even darker, “And as for you… I will give you a punishment worse than death.”
He grips my wrist tightly and pulls me out of the room.
“Let go… you’re hurting me,” I say, crying.
“Walk,” he says coldly.
We step outside, and I suddenly stop.
I stare around in shock.
The place is a huge white villa beautiful.
As we enter the living hall, I notice a beautiful and stylish woman sitting on the sofa.
She looks at us calmly.
“So… you’re keeping her with you?” she says.
“Yes, You have a problem?” he says.
She shakes her head slightly.
“No problem,” she says.
“It’s good.” I look at her with tearful eyes.
“Please… help me,” I say.
She ignores me and looks at him.
“This way,” she says, “she will get her punishment…”
Then she adds calmly, “And your needs will also be fulfilled.”
My heart drops.
She stands up slowly.
“But do it gently,” she says to him.
“She’s just a girl.”
Then she walks away.
“No… wait,” I say softly.
But she doesn’t stop.
Before I can react, he pulls me again.
“Come,” he says.
“Stop dragging me,” I say.
He opens a door and pushes me inside the room.
Before I can balance myself, He shoves me hard. I fall onto the bed.
“Ahhhhhh…!” I gasp.
He looks at me with anger.
“Take off your clothes,” he says.
My body freezes.
“What?” I say in shock.
