Her breathing was much too calm for the situation. Bodies were crumbling around her, but her expression didn’t betray anything. Only her eyes were slightly too open, but apart from that she seemed perfectly lifeless. The sounds of her armor with each movement added to her inhuman side giving the impression that she was only a machine programmed to kill. However, her movements were far too nimble to be those of a being of metal. While the others did their best to survive, she sliced through the crowd with ease and with a simple swing of her sword separated the various limbs from their body of origin. The bursts of twinkling were heard all around her and blinded her momentarily at some moments, but she kept going regardless. Her steps became faster and faster and very quickly she found herself at the foot of the hill which she climbed like an animal. Once at the peak she froze. She saw the figure at the edge of the beach boarding their ship. Their feet were no longer touching the sand and the boat was going to weigh anchor any second. It was too late. She had failed. She was never going to be able to catch up to them and this realization hurt her more than anything else. She screamed their name at the top of her lungs, knowing she wasn't going to be heard. However, by some miracle the figure turned around at that precise moment and she knew they saw her. She couldn't be missed. Her armor reflected the sunlight with blinding light, and she brandished her menacing sword: “Oh, I know some day I will emerge from here. Even if it takes me a thousand years, I will get there. No need to hide because you can’t escape. “ Following this icy declaration, she fell to her knees and let out a heart-wrenching cry. All the soldiers around her backed away in fear as she brought her hands back to her throat still choking on her screams. As she was gasping for air she slumped even more, catching her weight with only one arm. Eventually she let go of her throat and started pounding the ground with all her might. Suddenly, her eyes snapped open, and calm returned to her face. No one had ever seen such a monstrous expression on her before. Her features were hard and determined. She was going to kill them. She was going to drain their blood and watch them die.
