Luca and Revati’s past till they meet

Luca’s POV

I am Luca, owner of Itronix. I lost the love of my life, my dream job and now running my family business in Dallas from Richmond. I started this company because I have graduated in Electrical engineering.  I have earned goodwill for my company to complete the given task within the said period. My mom and sister are looking after our ranch and business in Dallas while I check the technical, financial and turnover of the business. I was enjoying my success. But one thing was still bothering me, Janice death. I was in jail for a year for a crime I didn’t commit. But I accepted the punishment as I failed to save my sweetheart. I heard David sue us for killing his wife and won 50000 dollars. I didn’t find anything foul until he demanded to give his second wife a job in our ranch that too his first wife’s office. When Debbie told me this, I said not to give that duty to anyone I will manage it once I come out of jail.

David’s wife was given the post of accountant. She was excellent at her job and earned my mom’s trust, but I didn’t like her and she was giving me negative vibes that she is here for something else and planning to execute it at the right time. 

Once I was out of jail, I asked about Mrs Miller’s daughter. What I heard was she hated me for killing her mother and she is still staying with her father and his new family. I tried to contact her, but she didn’t want to talk to me. 

When I started my company people refused to work with because of my past and the big giant Techtronic which was top most companies at that time. I had to work hard and often sold my products at a loss. But it was worth it. Everybody loved the quality of my products. Slowly my company became a huge success and I have so many workers under me. Now its top most electronics and AI company in USA. Everything was going smoothly and I didn’t have any competition. Success was my middle name and everybody was afraid to cross paths with me. Even Techtronic had to bow down in front of me. Even my family business was flourishing under my supervision. 

I had my eyes on Lillian. She didn’t do anything bad till now, but was trying to gain mom’s trust so that she can handle the financial and technical departments. Mom even suggested me to give her the duties so that I can ease my burden. But I never gave up my duty to her which made me check the files in these sections. I didn’t find anything wrong and was thinking why Lillian wants this duty so badly. Today is my 34th birthday and I am still single who will never give place to any other girl other than my Janice.

Revati’s POV

I changed my name to Chinnu Reddy. Officially my name is Revati Miller, but I used my pet name and my mumma’s surname as my new name when I joined MIT. I told the principal that I wanted to use this name only in college records with an alias. Principal asked why and I replied, “I lost my mumma 3 years ago. She gave me my pet name Chinnu and Reddy is her surname. I want to be remembered by my mumma.” The principal agreed and from then onwards my name became Chinnu Reddy. Like my mumma said I have grown to be a beautiful girl who would give goosebumps to any guys. I never tried to contact my father or step mom. They also were relieved that I got admission with scholarship. When I was studying here, I heard that Rhea was humiliated for making love with her roommate and her boyfriend. Everybody started to call her names. Julian called me and told me the incident. He was studying there. Rhea was suspended from the college cheerleaders team for three months. Julian still contacts me and give me the news in our neighbourhood. He also told that Bruce got into fight and was in jail for afew days.

On my 21st birthday, I got an envelope of mumma. Her secret message was to meet Mr, Richard and talk to him about mumma’s official life. I was perplexed to read the message. I haven’t been in Dallas for 3 years. I was staying in Cambridge for the last three years. When there was vacation I used to visit my Nana and Nani. I decided to go to Dallas and see Richard uncle. I didn’t know how the Livingston family will react when they see me. When I reached there, I saw my home was the same, but had a new colour on walls. Lillian and Bruce didn’t recognise me and was stunned to see my new avatar. Dad didn’t care about me. He was in a drunken state that I hardly believe he would recognise me. I freshen up and went to see Richard uncle. When I knocked the door a maid came and opened it. I introduced myself to her and said I want to meet Mr. Richard. She went inside and few minutes later came and took me to Mr. Richard’s room. Richard uncle has become lean and there was wrinkles on his face. He looked tired, but when he saw me, I saw the old love and affection he had when I was a kid.

Richard: “Are you really my Chinnu baby that I used to carry around this mansion. You have grown to be a beautiful lady.” He hugged and kissed me on my forehead. I also was missing him because he was like a dad to me. Tears started to flow from my eyes. He saw this and wiped it and cooed me like I was a small kid. 

Revati: “Uncle you still remember my pet name. I am sorry not to visit you these years.”

Richard: “I know everything went ugly after that accident. Luca has become so rude and arrogant that he doesn’t care for anyone’s emotions. All he wants right now is perfection and success. He doesn’t like to fail in anything. If he fails, he becomes an animal and will hurt anybody who comes in front of him.” Revati saw tears in Richard’s eyes.

Revati: “ Uncle actually I came here to ask you about mumma’s official life in the Ranch.” Richard was surprised to hear her words

Richard: “How do you know about this. Geeta told me when she is gone, one day you will come and ask me about her official life. She gave me an envelope and told me to give it to you when you ask. She said she has some doubts about our Ranch activities. She and Janice was investigating my accident and the ranch’s accounts. They were near a breakthrough when that accident happened. She even told me about your stepmom. Lillian is frequently asking to work in Geeta’s office, but Luca never trusted in her and he is handling that office.” I knew something is hidden in her office that’s why Lillian is interested to work there.

I didn’t open the envelope till I reached Cambridge. When I opened I saw the floor plan of her office and there was some code and lines on some servers. In the video message was ‘I have saved the details on some of these servers. Wait till the next clue.’ I was getting nervous not knowing what she was doing and why she has to keep it so confidential that I have to wait for another clue only god knows when I will get it. It’s been 6 years after mumma’s death and still I have not a clue who was behind her murder and why.

I completed my graduation with honours and joined Techtronic solutions to destroy Luca’s Itronix. I knew Luca has gained many companies trust and Techtronic is suffering a lot due to his company. I had to wait for 3 years when I got to present my company for the deal of big project ‘Banking bot’. It was project to make an AI bot for the banking sector. I worked hard on the presentation of my project.
